Pictures Ajijic Fat Tuesday Carnaval Parade 2017

More than 5,000 spectators showed up this year for the annual “Fat Tuesday” Carnaval parade. Many wonder why this tradition is one of the most popular in the area, it is one that dates back to over a hundred years and Ajijic is one of the few towns that still maintains this tradition alive and vivid. Other nearby towns such as San Antonio Tlayacapan or even Chapala try to re-create this event, however they cannot do it as well as Ajijic does.
