Pictures of the Mountains During Rainy Season 2015

June marks the start of the rainy season and the biggest satisfaction all lakeside residents get is how beautiful the mountains around the Lake turn green. In a matter of days after the first few rains the Sierra Madre mountains transform from a dried out brown to a beautiful plush green with waterfalls flowing through them in certain areas such as ¨El Tepalo¨. Every local will tell you that one has to experience the rainy season at least once to understand its majestic touch on the area. Below is a set of pictures we have taken during a recent hike up the trails in Ajijic, on our way to ¨El Tepalo¨ and ¨El Pandito¨, which are two well know points of the mountains.
