During the New Years eve festivities, Mexican families gather in the streets around a comfortable fire waiting for the clock to hit 12, once the year switches over, every friend and family member close by gets a huge and the traditional says “Feliz Año Nuevo”. After this it is none stop celebration and the occasional tequila shot. The next morning a parade starts at the well known “Six Corners” neighborhood where adults, kids and seniors parade down Ocampo street celebrating the new year.
