“Traditional Games Ajijic 2019 “ – The afternoon before the Independence Day celebration, known as “El Grito” a series of traditional games are held at the Ajijic Plaza, to celebrate the children by setting up games that were played before Mexico’s Independence. Kids are not the only ones that have fun, adults get to participate in drinking and eating contest.  They end the games with the “Palo Encebado” which is a greased up pole kids have to try to climb up to get prizes at the top, it is a great family event for adults and kids.
